Chris Lloyd is a film maker based in Cardiff where he creates video and photography content for some of the most influential names in theatre, in Wales and beyond. Alongside that, he also creates short films for his own personal YouTube channel, covering little pieces of Welsh history, which are often used as educational resources in local schools as well as being screened at film festivals across the world and frequently being used to support WalesOnline articles.

He has put together a beautiful short film around St Mary's church, briefly covering its history and including some images from our website. We have been told that the film has subsequently been selected by Dan Snow (popular historian and great Grandson of Prime Minister David Lloyd George) for his HistoryHit TV network, though we're uncertain of the air date at the moment.

We were particularly pleased to see the film as it makes a timely tribute to Father Jones' passing ten years ago.
